Service Administrator

Summary:

Reporting to the Director of Service, the Service Administrator is responsible for ensuring the administrative and procedural requirements for the Service Department are met on a daily basis.

Duties and Responsibilities:

The Service Administrator will perform some or all of the following duties:
  • Provide daily workflow reporting and actionable items to the Service Team.
  • Ensure customers are kept up to date with their job repair status at appropriate intervals.
  • Providing an exceptional level of customer service in line with the New West Truck Centres core values.
  • Maintaining job, customer data and notes in line with operating procedures to ensure departmental efficiency.
  • Assisting with entering and closing repair orders.
  • Adhere to, perform and action all Continuous Improvement, Health & Safety and ad hoc audits as prescribed by Director of Service.
  • Other duties as required.

Qualifications:

  • 0-2 years experience is required
  • A university degree, college diploma, or certification in a field related to Business Administration or in the process of obtaining
  • ADP experience an asset
  • Must be willing to participate in Continuous Improvement and learning
  • Experience in a clerical or administrative position required
  • Must be proficient in both spoken and written English
  • Must be punctual, meticulous and reliable
  • Courteous in manner to public and employees
  • Ability to work Monday to Friday days with the occasional weekend and/or overtime if required
