Any repairs found during Express Assessment that require a total of 4.0 hours or less of labor will qualify for Rapid Repair. This means the repair will happen while the truck is in the bay without going back into the repair line up or without being rescheduled. This ensures a timely turn on the vehicle.
Our goal is to complete all Rapid Repairs the first time the vehicle enters the shop. As a result, we eliminate the wasted steps of taking the vehicle out of the bay, staging the truck and assigning another technician to the job. This is our commitment to maximize customer uptime.
In the past 12 months, we have been able to turn 40% of all truck visits to New West Truck Centres in 10 hours (or less). This is measured from the time the customer arrives until the vehicle is complete.
